What is the Corporation Meeting?
The Corporation meeting is a meeting of the formal corporation that runs PCC. The corporation is open to anyone over the age of 18 who is affiliated with a Church of Christ. Attending the corporation meeting gives you the opportunity to hear from the board about how camp is doing, as well as to raise any concerns you may have. There is a $1 membership fee to attend.
Who’s in the corporation?
The corporation consists of people just like you! Anyone can join the corporation so long as they meet the following criteria:
- They are over the age of 18
- They are an active member of the Church of Christ and in fellowship.
- They have paid an annual due of $1 for the calendar year (Jan. 1st – Dec. 31st)
What happens at the corporation meeting?
The purpose of the corporation meeting is to do the following:
- To hear a report on the operation of the camp season that has just closed
- To review and discuss the past, present, and future operations of camp
- To make recommendations to the Board of Directors for the improvement of Camp
- To elect board members
Why should I go to the corporation meeting?
The corporation meeting is a great opportunity for you to meet the Board of Directors and express any concerns you may have or any new ideas you want to share. While the board is always happy to hear from our camp community, there’s nothing quite like face to face interaction!
